2025 Summer Swim Season is Almost Here!

Hello AFC Swim Families,

Get ready! The Mighty Tigers will be back in the water starting May 19, 2025, with pre-season practices leading up to the official start of the season.

This summer, we'll be competing in NVSL Division 9 with Kings Ridge, Dowden Terrace, Hollin Meadows, Forest Hollow, and Lakevale Estates.

We will swim two different kinds of meets this summer:

• Saturday "A" Meets: These are divisional dual meets where coaches select swimmers based on performance and availability.
• Monday "B" Meets: These developmental meets are open to all swimmers, who can participate in up to two events.

Practice Schedules:

• Pre-Season (May 19 - June 12, 2025):
  • Monday - Thursday Evenings:
    • 6:00 - 6:30 PM: 8 & Under (excluding Mini Tigers)
    • 6:30 - 7:15 PM: 9-12 Year Olds
    • 7:15 - 8:00 PM: 13-18 Year Olds
• Regular Season (Beginning June 16, 2025):
  • Monday - Thursday Mornings:
    • 7:30 - 8:15 AM: 8 & Under, 9-12 (Day Campers), 13-18 (Early)
    • 8:15 - 9:00 AM: Mini Tigers, 9-12 Year Olds
    • 9:00 - 10:00 AM: 13-18 Year Olds
  • Friday Mornings: Pancake Breakfast and Fun!
    • 7:30 - 8:30 AM: 12 & Under and Day Campers
    • 8:15 - 9:00 AM: 13 & Over
    • Pancakes served around 8:45 AM, followed by weekly awards.

• Monday, June 23, 2025: Arlington Forest Club @ Dominion Hills - take 2! (B Meet)
• Saturday, June 28, 2025: Arlington Forest Club @ Dowden Terrace (A Meet)
• Monday, June 30, 2025: SHBR @ Arlington Forest Club (B Meet)
• Wednesday, July 2, 2025: Division 9 Relay Carnival @ Forest Hollow
• Saturday, July 5, 2025: Lakevale Estates @ Arlington Forest Club (A Meet)
• Monday, July 7, 2025: Arlington Forest Club @ Donaldson Run (B Meet)
• Wednesday, July 9, 2025: NVSL All Star Relay Carnival @ TBD
• Saturday, July 12, 2025: Arlington Forest Club @ Forest Hollow (A Meet)
• Monday, July 14, 2025: Possible B meet Poplar Heights
• Saturday, July 19, 2025: Division 9 Championships @ Kings Ridge
• Saturday, July 26, 2025: NVSL Individual All Stars @ Pinecrest
