2026 Summer Swim Season is Almost Here!

Hello AFC Swim Families,

Get ready! The Mighty Tigers will be back in the water starting May 18, 2026, with pre-season practices leading up to the official start of the season.

This summer, we'll be competing in NVSL Division 9 with Kings Ridge, Hollin Meadows, Lakevale Estates, Mansion House, and Villa Aquatic.

We will swim two different kinds of meets this summer:

• Saturday "A" Meets: These are divisional dual competitive meets where coaches select swimmers based on performance and availability.
• Monday "B" Meets: These developmental meets are open to all swimmers, who can participate in up to two events.

Practice Schedules:

• Pre-Season (May 18 - June 18, 2026):
  • Monday - Thursday Evenings:
    • 6:00 - 6:30 PM: 8 & Under 
      • Mini Tigers on Tues & Thurs starting June 2, 2026
    • 6:30 - 7:15 PM: 9-12 Year Olds
    • 7:15 - 8:00 PM: 13-18 Year Olds
• Regular Season (Beginning June 22, 2026):
  • Monday - Thursday Mornings:
    • 7:30 - 8:15 AM: 8 & Under, 9-12 (Day Campers), 13-18 (Early)
    • 8:15 - 9:00 AM: Mini Tigers, 9-12 Year Olds
    • 9:00 - 10:00 AM: 13-18 Year Olds
  • Friday Mornings: Pancake Breakfast and Fun!
    • 7:30 - 8:30 AM: 12 & Under and Day Campers
    • 8:15 - 9:00 AM: 13 & Over
    • Pancakes served around 8:45 AM, followed by weekly awards.

• Monday, June 29, 2026: Arlington Forest @ SHBR (B Meet)
• Saturday, July 4, 2026: Arlington Forest @ Kings Ridge (A Meet)
• Monday, July 6, 2026: Arlington Forest @ Dowden Terrace (B Meet)
• Wednesday, July 8, 2026: Division 9 Relay Carnival @ Arlington Forest Club
• Saturday, July 11, 2026: Arlington Forest @ Mansion House (A Meet)
• Monday, July 13, 2026: Donaldson Run @ Arlington Forest Club (B Meet)
• Wednesday, July 15, 2026: NVSL All Star Relay Carnival @ TBD
• Saturday, July 18, 2026: Lakevale Estates @ Arlington Forest Club (A Meet)
• Saturday, July 25, 2026: Division 9 Championships @ Kings Ridge

Swimmers interested in joining Mini Tigers should come for an evaluation:

Mini Tiger B-Meet Participation

• All Mini Tigers are invited to participate in B Meets starting Monday, June 22nd!
• Mini Tigers may register to swim two events at B Meets. 
• Remember to embrace the weekly theme!
